Morning glories are often grown in elementary school classes, and writing an observation diary is often assigned as summer vacation homework. In the first place, there are only a few elements that can be written about other than “buds have appeared,” “leaves have increased,” and “flowers have bloomed,” so it is questionable whether they are suitable as a diary topic, but since most children write about them all at once on the last day of summer vacation anyway, it may be easy in the sense that they can write casually.
お隣の南千住に住んでいた頃はほぼ毎年ぶらついていたものの、世田谷在住となってからはコロナ禍を挟んだこともあって実に８年ぶりとなる入谷朝顔まつりを見物。
開催日時が７月６〜８日の三日間と決まっているので、曜日によってはこれまた二の足を踏むことになるんだけど、今年は初日が土曜日というわけで行ってきましたよ。
大雨に降られたり、止んで混みまくる人混みの中で出店の佐世保バーガー（なんでやねん）食べたり、下町のお祭りを久々に体感。
「やっぱり祭りはカオスでなくっちゃね。」
